Damascus (drop point hunter/skinner) are made from high carbon steel and pure nickel sometimes 15N20 which is a
bearing steel with a nickel blend. Ground from bar stock and only the best. The hunters are Hollow Ground Flat on
request and are made of 1/8", 5/32" 3/16" and 1/4" with a full tangs fitted with stainless steel or Mosaic brass
bolsters pins & bolts. These hunting knives may be ordered with a variety of natural materials ancient Ivories &
tooth as well as many colors of Micarta.
(The Blades) are made from 1095 carbon steel 0-1 tool steel, 440C stainless, ATS-34 and High carbon Damascus
and Stainless Damascus a more expensive steel almost six the cost. I do all the heat treatment of my blades in my
shop. Blade length: 3 1/2" and up overall length: 6.25 & 7 3/4" 9" and up (also miniatures) bar stock thickness: 1/8"
5/32 3/16" 1/4"
Handles Matte Micarta, Full Finish Micata it comes in Paper, Linen and Canvas. My favorite handle materials are
Exotic Hardwoods, such as Ebony, Cocobolo, Ironwood, Bocote, Olive wood very stable and then stabilized woods
are used always with all of my Burls and Curly Maple. I use Stag and Antler of all kinds (except NO Elephant Ivory)
including Moose and Horn. Ivory (mammoth tooth) and Tusks of all types of animals. Mother of pearls are a nice
touch but fragile. I prefer to us it as inlays. I could go on forever I hope that was informative.

|On this Full Throttle I clayed the blade to
create a harmon line on the edge. I have not
see done often.
The Twist Damascus I used on this knife had
a low layer count, and I thought it would
show or POP more. If you look it shows well
in the photo..
